Purchased in 2016, the site at 307 Orenda Road, in Brampton, ON., was primed for redevelopment. At that time, investors and developers were confident in their plans to reconstruct a speculative building on the property due to its ideal size, location, and renowned logistics market. With a view to encourage the city’s economic growth and business advantages, construction on the Bramalea Logistics Centre got underway this past November. The state-of-the-art 341,130 sf distribution centre sits on a 15.2-acre site, and will feature 38’ clear height, over 50 loading docks with the ability to park 93 trailers.
